A vary rare opportunity to purchase an original L96 bipod as used by the British Army. As any ex armourer will tell you, these bipods were never the strongest and the inner legs often needed replacing do to the sniper pushing forward into the rifle with the legs fully extended. This example is in serviceable condition, the inner legs are straight and pull out and push in easily, both springs are present and working correctly. There is some wear to the upper main legs but it does not effect function. The centre body is in brand new condition and looks like it is has been recently replaced.
If you are lucky enough to own a L96 (and so very few people are) then this could be a final chance of acquiring a spare bipod as now, almost all L96 spares have been destroyed.
