Mr Nickel was the founder of the manufactory where the scope was made in Marburg Germany. He was the lead engineer at Ziess.

The tube is engraved: John Rigby & CO, 32 King Street, London SW1
This model has a centre post with fine crosswire, it is an earlier model with steel 26mm tube, overall length 26.5cm manufactured around the 1950’s. Condition: Used/good.
